Embracing spontaneity

This trip was half-planned, half-spontaneous. Originally, the plan was a roadtrip going south, to tagaytay. But on the night before our trip, something came up and two of our friends won't be able to make it. Sandra called me and asked if we could bring JB and Kla with us. I felt a bit excited when I heard JB's coming with us. Having his class clown personality, I'm sure it'll be a happy roadtrip. Kla on the other hand is Sandra's bestfriend whom I haven't met (yet).

We left Manila at 10:30am and arrived at Tagaytay at 12nn.

first stop: Chicboy, tagaytay where we had lunch. No photos during lunch since we were all hungry. lol

after eating, and while waiting for Arwin and Inoj, we discussed where we want to go. as I have said, the only thing that was planned was to go to Tagaytay, and now that we're at Tagaytay, we had not idea what to next. When Arwin arrived, we were joking him that this was actually a 4-day trip. then we began discussing our itinerary. lol  after a long discussion, we decided to go to Caleruega. We left as soon as Inoj arrived
.
spontaneity brought us to Batangas.

While on our way, a beautiful scenery greeted us that we had pull over and take photos

second stop: Caleruega

Hello Caleruega! We meet again!
this is the place where we always have our retreat since first year college. Nostalgic feeling that we went back here now that we're already graduates. I never thought I'd return to this place after college. I miss Caleruega.

it rained really hard when we got there so we had to stay at the lobby while we wait for the rain to stop.
The famous fallopian stairs

the hanging bridge. where I did my Iza Calzado pose last year :

HAHAHA lol

very beautiful Caleruega Church, who wouldn't want to be married in a church like this?

third stop: Summit Ridge (where we parked, just parked. lol)

we went there for nothing actually, we were not yet hungry and we didn't know what to do next, we just took  photos, then we remembered we want to go to Pink Sisters!

fourth stop: Pink Sisters Cathedral

wrote our prayers and wishes to the pink sisters :)

fifth stop: overlooking Taal at the back of Starbucks

since it's too early to eat bulalo, we went back to chicboy/starbucks to see Taal.

sixth and final stop: Bulalo for dinner!

It was a tiring yet super fun spontaneous day. It felt like JB and Kla were meant to join us. I'm thankful JB was there and was willing to switch with me and drive. He was so fun to be with, he even danced the dougie while driving!(video here-private) windows down with music on full volume on the roads of Tagaytay to Batangas is really fun especially when you're with these kind of friends. there was never a dull moment.
Kla on the other hand was super friendly and nice. She's game for anything! I'm thankful she is, because if she's the shy type, we wouldn't be close friends now. haha

let's go north next time, yes?
